Recently, the Beth Myriam in Tokyo served food to about 100 people at a community hall. As usual they cooked Hayashi rice (hushed pork and rice) and the people love it very much. The recipients are mostly men who don’t have steady jobs and are living in parks and the streets of the Shinjuku or Shibuya area in Tokyo.
